The club was formed in November 1996 to promote safe personal watercraft riding, and to allow representation with the local council. We are recognised by the Conwy County Borough Council and the Local Harbour Authority. We are allowed access to the Eirias Park slipway in Colwyn Bay.
We are an RYA Training Centre, with instructor’s on-site providing PWC 1 day courses to members throughout the year.
We have an agreement with the local authorities with regard to an operating license to allow club members to receive preferential access to the Eirias Slipway.
The main benefits of the agreement are:

• Controlled use of Jet Ski activity at the site during peak times.

• Safe environment for family Jet Ski activity.

• Exclusive use to club members on Sundays and Bank holidays up to 12 noon.

• Greatly reduced annual launching permit fee.

We are a non-profit making club and believe that all monies taken should be re-invested for the benefit of the Jet Skiing fraternity at Colwyn Bay. All committee members are experienced Jet Skiers and we believe that a Jet Ski club should be run by the people who participate in the sport and not by bureaucrats or any person(s) looking for financial gain.
 
We are a recognised RYA Training Centre and will be running courses throughout the year for club members.
