Colwyn
Jet Ski Club
|
The club was formed
in November 1996 to promote safe personal watercraft riding, and
to allow representation with the local council. We are
recognised by Conwy County Borough Council and the local Harbour
Authority. We are allowed access to the Eirias Park slipway
in Colwyn Bay.
We have an agreement with the local authority with regard to an
operating license allowing club members to receive preferential
access to the Victoria Pier Slipway and car park up to 12 noon
on club days (Sundays and Bank Holidays) throughout the season.
Visiting jet skiers
are welcome after 12 noon on club days and sometimes before 12
noon at the discretion of the gate officer during quieter
periods.
Club members and visitors alike must have proof of jet ski 3rd
Party Liability Insurance with them whenever they launch

We are a non-profit
making club and all monies taken are re-invested for the benefit
of the Jet Skiing fraternity at Colwyn Bay. All committee
members are experienced Jet Skiers and we believe that a jet ski
club should be run by the people who participate in the sport
and not by bureaucrats or any person(s) looking for financial
gain.
