Registration Scheme

As from 1^st April 2006 all powered craft have been required to register their craft prior to use of the Authorities slipways. The Annual charge for Registration has been set at the rate of £20 for 2008 / 2009.

The above permit consists of a Blue “Registration” part and “Red” Annual Launch permit for Conwy County Council.

Launchers who have not purchased an Annual Launch/Registration Permit will be required to register at this site prior to Launching at a cost of £20

A Day Launch Permit may then be purchased at this site at a cost of £17

Total £37.00

On subsequent launches a Day Launch only should be purchased at £17 unless an Annual Launch Permit is purchased. Annual Launch Permits cost £94 to Non Members or £37 to members of Colwyn Jetski Club, available from the Harbour Office

The scheme offers considerable advantage to any Conwy Registered Launchers because Denbighshire, Gwynedd and any Angelsey Councils will all accept the Conwy Registration. This means if you decide to go to Angelsey for the day instead of Conwy then you will not be required to register again as in previous years, all you will have to pay is their Day Launch fee.
