CJSC Joining details

The current membership fee is £50.00 per membership per craft.

An additional administration charge of £20.00 is payable to process new applicants

An Application Form for Membership can only be approved following the new applicant completing at least 1 Day Launch.

The Application Form is issued by the Duty member of the Committee at the site, if that Committee member is of the opinion the new Applicant is suitable and competent on the water, they will complete the “Proposer” section of the Application form. The new applicant will then require a current member to complete the “Seconder”, the Seconder cannot be a current member of the committee. The Seconder will complete the appropriate section of the Application Form. Only members with a current Membership Card can second any new members.

If the new applicant has completed the RYA PWC course they may become members without completing a Day Launch if they so choose but again at the discretion of the duty Committee member.

A new membership is issued with the proviso that it does not become a “Full” membership until 6 weeks after the Application is received. Until such time it will be known as a “Provisional” Membership and may be revoked following an Extra Ordinary Committee meeting at anytime within the 6 weeks.
A Provisional member may still apply to Conwy Council for an Annual Permit.

All committee members are experienced Jet Skiers and we believe that a Jet Ski club should be run by the people who participate in the sport.

Portacabin Rental	Tractor Maintenance
RYA & WYA Affiliation	Insurance of cabin and equipment.
Gate person	Public Liability Insurance

NB: Additional fees will be required by the Conwy Harbour Master's Office (telephone 01492 596253) to cover Craft Registration and an Annual Launch Permit.
